Happy Monday!

What a weekend, we had rain all day Saturday but then glorious sun Sunday.  Saturday yielded a bit of a nagging headache, which made consecrating a little hard. But Sunday...Sunday I got in there and put together 3 new cases for the shop.  Check it out!

This is Fall Flowers available now in the shop.

Calico Cats, also available now in the Trinity's Trinkets shop

I'm not sure yet what to name this guy!  I have a couple of fun names in mind.  Stop in to our facebook page and vote for the name you like best.  This will be available later in the week.
I just wanted to add a shot of my view from the sewing table.  I know everything is starting to die and it looks a bit cold.  Not sure though if you can see it but just above the thread spoil is a bird feeder.  I have been so distracted watching all the beautiful birds out there fluttering around.  Love it!

Oh yes, Blackbeard was VERY Helpful this weekend :-)

Do you take custom orders?

The biggest question I have heard lately is "Do you take custom orders?".  The answer is YES!  I have had people ask for specific colors of fabrics or even purchase their own fabric and I will construct your case.  Please don't hesitate to convo me on Etsy or email me at trinitystrinkets@hotmail.com with your questions.  Below are two examples of custom order cases.

This pouch was a custom order where the the customer requested the fabric colors.

The fabric for this custom pouch was supplied by the buyer.

Feature Artists Contest!!!!

Coming soon!   Fridays we are going to start featuring interviews and insights with other Artisans and Esty shop owners.  There are so many magnificent talents out there that I want to explore and share with you.  In order to do this, I would like to create a list of 5 questions that we will ask every artist.  What I want to know is…

What would you ask?

As my blog audience, what questions would you want to ask an artisan about their creations?  Yes this is a contest and there is a prize!  I will pick the 5 best questions and those people will receive a coupon for 20% off their next order from Trinity’s Trinkets.

Please submit all entries by Friday. October 21st 5:00 EST to trinitystrinkets@hotmal.com

Have fun and good luck!

The Trinity's Trinkets Studio

After talking about my new studio I thought it would be nice to share that studio with you.  I'm tempted to post the before and after.  But frankly the before is just a bit scary.  The after is so much better!
This is where most of the magic happens.  My desk is a old trundle sewing machine.  Yes the machine is actually in there, yes it does work, and yes I use it!  Maybe one day I will give you a peak at one of my most prized possessions.  The window is wonderful for light and I have a bird feeder just outside I can see all the beautiful birds.
Extra seating for a crafty friend and of course some crafty books.  You can just see my window bench at the far end.  A better picture is below.
Ahhh the thrown!  That chair is my knitting thrown.  Yes I do spin yarn as well.  This is a newer hobby that has not yet advanced to the shop stage.  But this may be a sign of things to come ;-)
My window nook.  This is another great addition to my studio.  It gives me a place to sit and think of my creations and create fun blog entries.
Well now we put that studio and me to work!  Here I am working on a new knitting needle pouch for the shop.
SNEAK PEAK!!!  This will be posting to the shop by the end of the week.
Oh yes, I should probably mention the studio mascot, he would be very upset if I did not.  This is Blackbeard!  This is one spoiled lazy kitty!  But he loves hanging with momma in the studio.  I have even caught the little rascal in my thrown!

Well that is it!  Trinity's Trinkets Studio.  I hope you have enjoyed your little tour.
